MWM participated in Vinitaly (Edition 51th), which hit a record attendance of exhibitors in Verona from all over the World (128,000 attendances from 142 countries, including 49,000 foreigners). Vinitaly has since many years been the pivot of the internationalization of the Italian wine sector, but it is also the time of meeting between the Italian and foreign markets, as underscored by the growth in the number of foreign exhibitors, among all, deserve to be mentioned the growth of Russia (+ 42%), Brazil (+ 29%) and United States (+ 6%) for a total of 30 exporting countries, which once again shows the importance of the agri-food sector (and especially of wine) as an engine for the international economy.
For decades, MWM has been a strategic partner for Italian wineries which export their own wine abroad, with dedicated excise tax warehouses and international shipments in Italy, as well as a consolidated tax warehouse for our correspondents in Much of the Community territory. In the last few years, a dedicated 360-degree e-commerce service has been activated (from storage at controlled temperature, to picking, to delivering orders on a computer track, to the support of specialized conveyors), because the future of logistics of wine and ‘Made in Italy’s internationalization is increasingly dependent on the ability to offer quality services and innovation capabilities.
